Senior operational leadership role responsible for the strategic, operational, financial, compliance and stakeholder management of Stallion Security’s KwaZulu-Natal branch operations, including integrated service delivery at Kings Park Stadium
Purpose of the Position & Core Competencies
The General Manager: KZN Branch and Kings Park Stadium Operations is responsible for leading and managin Myy Client KwaZulu-Natal operations, including branch operations, client sites, stadium operations, event security, cleaning coordination, operational compliance, technology oversight and stakeholder management.
The role is accountable for ensuring that all KZN operations are delivered safely, professionally, profitably and in accordance with client requirements, contractual obligations, statutory requirements and company standards.
The incumbent is responsible for driving operational discipline, client confidence, workforce stability, financial control, compliance readiness and service delivery excellence across a complex operational environment.
A key focus of the role is ensuring strong operational execution discipline through:

Grade 12
· Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Operations Management, Policing, Business Administration or related field would be advantageous
· Valid PSIRA registration, preferably Grade A
· Computer literacy essential
· Microsoft Office proficiency essential (Word; powerpoint & excel)
· Reporting and administrative capability essential
· OHS, First Aid, Fire Safety or Event Safety certification would be advantageous
· Firearm competency would be advantageous where role scope requires it
Legal Requirements
The General Manager must ensure that all operational activities are conducted in compliance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, client obligations and company policies.
The incumbent must maintain working knowledge of the following legislative and regulatory frameworks:
- Private Security Industry Regulation Act / PSIRA Requirements Ensure all security services, security officers, registration requirements and operational activities are aligned to PSIRA obligations.
- Occupational Health and Safety Act Ensure safe working practices, risk assessments, incident reporting, inspections and corrective actions are implemented across operations.
- Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act Ensure stadium and event operations are aligned to applicable event safety, risk categorisation, access control and stakeholder coordination requirements.
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act and Labour Relations Act Ensure operational people practices, discipline, working time, overtime, grievances and employment practices are managed fairly and lawfully.
- NBCPSS Requirements Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable private security sector bargaining council requirements.
- Protection of Personal Information Act Ensure CCTV footage, incident information, employee information, visitor information and client information are handled confidentially and lawfully.
- Firearms Control Act Ensure firearm-related controls and armed deployment requirements are managed in accordance with legislation and company procedures where applicable.
- Company Governance and Confidentiality Ensure compliance with company policies, delegation of authority, client confidentiality, operational procedures and reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements: Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience within the security industry
- Minimum 5 years’ senior operational management experience
- Experience managing multi-site guarding operations
- Experience managing large operational teams and supervisory structures
- Experience in event security, stadium operations, venue security or crowd management would be highly advantageous
- Experience engaging with senior clients, public safety stakeholders and operational partners
- Experience managing budgets, margins, overtime, billing and operational cost control
- Experience in incident management, investigations, risk assessments and escalation processes
- Experience in compliance, audits, PSIRA requirements, OHS and client SLA governance
- Experience working within high-pressure operational environments requiring after-hours availability
