About the Opportunity

Motus Mahindra Paarl is seeking an energetic, customer-focused and results-driven Used Vehicle Sales Representative to join our team for the launch of our new dealership opening on 01 September 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building customer relationships, generating sales opportunities, promoting quality pre-owned vehicles and achieving sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals and lead management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Conduct professional vehicle presentations, demonstrations and test drives.
  • Assist customers in selecting vehicles that best suit their needs and budget.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales and profitability targets.
  • Negotiate vehicle pricing and terms within dealership guidelines.
  • Promote finance, insurance and value-added products in conjunction with the Finance and Insurance Department.
  • Manage the full sales process from enquiry through to vehicle delivery.
  • Follow up on customer enquiries and sales leads promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate customer records using dealership CRM systems.
  • Ensure all sales administration and documentation are completed accurately and timeously.
  • Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay informed about vehicle stock, market trends and competitor activity.
  • Participate in dealership marketing and promotional initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Previous vehicle sales experience within the automotive industry will be advantageous.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a franchised dealership environment.
  • Experience selling used or pre-owned vehicles.
