POSITION INFO

Qualification Matric / Senior Certificate Mining or Civil Engineering qualification (advantageous) Requirements Site Operations Manager experienced in the mining environment with open-cast mining and rehabilitation and earthmoving operations. Experience in load-haul, screening and reclamation sites 2.6.1 Legal Appointee. Valid driver's license and relevant certifications (e.g. Safety, First Aid, Legal Liability etc.) Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and Mining Safety Regulations. Proficient in site reporting and project management tools. Duties Manage and coordinate all on-site mining, rehabilitation and earthmoving activities. Lead, supervise, and support site personnel and employees (sub-contractors). Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, progress reports, planning shifts, etc. Liaise with clients, engineers and senior management. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, COP's and toolbox talks. Monitor equipment usage and coordinate maintenance equipment safety and effective usage. Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
