Compliance Officer

We have an amazing opportunity for a compliance officer at a financial service based in Cape Town Northern Suburbs! The main purpose of this role is:

• Responsible for the client on-boarding process, specifically undertaking anti-money laundering (AML) compliance checks, sanction screening, and conflict of interest checks.
• Advising fee earners on required documentation for clients and meticulously managing client data held on the firm's systems.

We require a candidate with:

• Solid experience in end-to-end onboarding of various entity types within a professional services or financial services environment.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of UK Money Laundering Regulations and conflicts of interest (experience unravelling corporate structures is highly advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a process-driven approach to analyzing data and making informed compliance decisions.
