Data Engineer

Our client is seeking a Data Engineer with a strong analytical mindset to join their team in Hurlingham, Sandton. This opportunity is ideal for a data professional who enjoys working directly with data, uncovering insights, and solving business challenges through analysis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition to a hybrid working arrangement after successfully completing probation

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar data-focused role
• Strong Python skills, including pandas and NumPy
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices
• Experience working with large and complex datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Data Analyst experience would be advantageous
