Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Attorney role based in Centurion. The Junior Attorney will assist senior practitioners with case preparation, legal research, drafting of contracts, pleadings, opinions, and correspondence across the firm’s main practice areas. Daily responsibilities include reviewing documents, preparing briefs, attending consultations, and supporting attorneys in matters before bargaining councils, the CCMA, and courts. The role also involves providing supervised legal advice to clients, participating in settlement discussions, and liaising with counsel, experts, and other stakeholders. The Junior Attorney is expected to maintain accurate files, comply with timelines and court rules, and uphold the firm’s standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be admitted and in good standing with the LPC
• (3-4 years’ experience) after admission, with experience in Labour and Family Law, and general litigation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; strong drafting and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise matters, and work well under supervision and within a team.
• High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional conduct.

Availability and Salary

• To start as soon as possible
• With Own Vehicle - Travel per km reimbursements for business
• Expected Salary: R25 000 per month - Cost to Company
• Commission possibility
