- The Medical Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment processes for medical and healthcare positions, including sourcing, screening, and shortlisting qualified candidates for both local and international placement opportunities.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with hiring managers and external partners to define role requirements, drafting and posting job advertisements, conducting interviews, and coordinating assessment and selection activities.
- The role also involves maintaining a strong talent pipeline, managing candidate communication, supporting international placement processes where applicable, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- The Medical Recruiter will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to meet staffing needs while upholding compliance, ethical hiring practices, and organizational values.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting and hiring, including managing full recruitment cycles for clinical and non-clinical roles.
- Strong interviewing skills, with the ability to assess competencies, cultural add, and role fit in medical and healthcare environments.
- Proficient in customer service, with a focus on building relationships and providing timely, respectful communication to candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Understanding of medicine or healthcare environments, including common medical roles, terminology, and regulatory considerations.
- Experience or interest in international recruitment and placement processes will be advantageous.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and professional networking platforms, such as LinkedIn, for sourcing and pipeline management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pretoria Metropolitan Area and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
