Senior Electrician / Millwright

Merwannes (Pty) Ltd is looking for a reliable, hands-on Senior Electrician / Millwright to carry out electrical

installations, maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding across our project and client sites. If you are trade

tested, experienced, and able to think clearly under pressure, we’d like to hear from you.

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding across project and client sites

• Install, maintain, and repair wiring systems, distribution boards, lighting systems, and associated

electrical infrastructure

• Perform cable pulling, cable terminations, cable jointing, etc.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics

• Conduct inspections, testing, diagnostics, and fault-finding activities to ensure system reliability and

compliance

• Ensure all work is completed safely and within deadlines

• Build good client relationships

• Do mechanical repairs on pumps and electrical motors

• Trade tested electrician / millwright (essential)

• Valid driver’s licence (essential)

• Fluent in Afrikaans (Afrikaans workplace)

• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field

• Strong electrical installation and maintenance experience within commercial and residential

environments

• Solid fault-finding and troubleshooting capability

• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics

• Reliable, hands-on, and able to work independently or within a team

• Ability to think clearly under pressure in case of urgent breakdowns

• Willingness to work after hours when required

• Age 30 – 45 (preferably)

• Salary: R30 000 – R40 000 per month

• Standby: two weekends per month

• Working hours: 07:30 – 17:30

• Location: Bonnievale, Western Cape
