Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and strong supplier relationship management? An established and dynamic organisation based in Sandton is seeking a skilled Creditors Clerk to join its finance team.
As the Creditors Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the accounts payable function by:
- Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and timeously
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes
- Maintaining supplier master data and ensuring accurate record keeping
- Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs
- Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Managing supplier queries and building strong supplier relationships
- Assisting with month-end processes, including intercompany reconciliations
- Monitoring payment deadlines to avoid penalties and service interruptions
- Generating reports on outstanding creditors and cash flow requirements
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative and financial duties
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–3 years' experience in a Creditors or Accounts Payable role
- Solid understanding of accounts payable processes and controls
Technical Skills
- Experience working on ERP accounting systems (SAP exposure advantageous)
- Exposure to Esker and FIS interfaces would be beneficial
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Proven experience with:
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Invoice verification and processing
- Creditors ledger maintenance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Basic salary is R21, 000 with a medical insurance of R617.00
Retirement contribution is solely from employer and is at 10%
