Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and strong supplier relationship management? An established and dynamic organisation based in Sandton is seeking a skilled Creditors Clerk to join its finance team.

As the Creditors Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the accounts payable function by:

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and timeously
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes
  • Maintaining supplier master data and ensuring accurate record keeping
  • Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing supplier queries and building strong supplier relationships
  • Assisting with month-end processes, including intercompany reconciliations
  • Monitoring payment deadlines to avoid penalties and service interruptions
  • Generating reports on outstanding creditors and cash flow requirements
  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative and financial duties

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–3 years' experience in a Creditors or Accounts Payable role
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable processes and controls

Technical Skills

  • Experience working on ERP accounting systems (SAP exposure advantageous)
  • Exposure to Esker and FIS interfaces would be beneficial
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Proven experience with:
    • Supplier statement reconciliations
    • Invoice verification and processing
    • Creditors ledger maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Basic salary is R21, 000 with a medical insurance of R617.00

Retirement contribution is solely from employer and is at 10%
