Building Foreman

Our client is seeking an experienced Foreman to join their team within the high-end residential construction sector in the Cape Province. This permanent opportunity is suited to a hands-on site professional with strong technical understanding and the ability to drive programme delivery on luxury residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret project requirements and ensure correct daily implementation on site
• Coordinate site activities in line with project plans and technical specifications
• Follow and implement detailed construction programme schedules (MS Project / bar charts)
• Allocate tasks and provide clear daily direction to site teams and support staff
• Monitor progress to ensure project deliverables are met timeously
• Maintain quality control standards and ensure accurate site documentation
• Ensure engineer sign-offs and quality assurance procedures are correctly followed
• Oversee unit handovers and ensure compliance with required standards
• Submit accurate month-end reports, timesheets, and expense documentation
• Proactively identify and resolve site issues to prevent recurrence

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (construction-related qualification advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Foreman
• Experience within high-end residential construction essential
• Strong technical understanding of building processes and site operations
• Ability to interpret construction programmes and drawings
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organisational and time management ability
