SUMMARY

We are seeking a high-performing actuarial pricing specialist to join a fast-paced, data-driven environment on a full time role

POSITION INFO

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on impact-driven projects , where you'll build, refine, and deliver advanced pricing models that directly influence business decisions. What You'll Be Doing: Build and enhance pricing models from first principles Drive pricing performance and link models to measurable business outcomes Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques Translate complex data into clear, commercially focused insights Engage with stakeholders and influence pricing decisions Support model automation, deployment, and optimisation What We're Looking For: Proven experience in pricing (not purely reserving or capital) Strong track record of building models and demonstrating impact Experience applying: GLMs Decision trees Gradient Boosting / XGBoost Hands-on use of: pandas scikit-learn XGBoost Technical Stack: Emblem (ESSENTIAL - non-negotiable) (must have hands-on experience in pricing, automation, or deployment) Experience with Radar, ResQ (Earnix advantageous) Strong skills in: Python R SQL Power BI Requirements: Nearly qualified actuary ( minimum 10 exams completed ) 5+ years' experience in actuarial, pricing, or data science roles Active progression with a recognised actuarial body What Will Set You Apart You've built pricing models from scratch You can clearly explain what you built + its business impact Strong commercial understanding of pricing decisions Confident engaging with stakeholders Advantageous: Exposure to SAM / IFRS 17 Experience in regulated environments Why This Opportunity High-impact short-term project work Opportunity to work on advanced pricing models Strong blend of technical and commercial exposure Ideal for candidates who enjoy delivery-focused environments Apply Now: If you're looking for a short-term opportunity where you can make a real impact , we'd love to hear from you.
