Short-Term Insurance Sales Representative - Bloemfontein

Job Description

• Live and work in Bloemfontein;
• Grade 12;
• 5 years' marketing experience in short term insurance;
• RE5 and all relevant FSCA qualifications (candidate must be fit and proper as defined);
• Computer literate (MS Office);
• Bilingual - Afrikaans and English (speak, read and write);
• Valid driver's license (minimum code B) with own reliable transportation;
• Must be available after office hours if required;
• Relevant te rtiary insurance qualification will be advantageous.

Key responsibilities and attributes

• Prepare and implement relevant marketing strategies to grow the short-term insurance book, including cold calling and consultations with members;
• Liaison between members and short-term insurance providers to ensure members receive high quality service;
• Oversee insurance claims to ensure fair dealing and satisfaction of members;
• Follow defined administrative processes, from inception of policy through to processing of claims;
• Be target driven and passionate and have a client-centered focus.

Remuneration Package

• Basic salary: Market related (Basic and commission component)
• Pension Fund.
