A leading plastic packaging manufacturer is seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Head of Operations to lead and optimise manufacturing operations across two production facilities.
This senior role is responsible for driving operational excellence, manufacturing performance, safety, quality, customer service, cost optimisations, and continuous improvement while supporting the company's growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all manufacturing operations across multiple plants.
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive world-class manufacturing performance, productivity, and operational excellence.
- Lead and develop Plant Managers, Quality and SHE functions.
- Ensure optimum production output, efficiency, asset utilisation, and cost control.
- Champion a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and accountability.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma and operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, quality and food safety standards.
- Oversee maintenance, engineering, reliability and capital investment strategies.
- Lead major capital projects, plant expansions, automation and growth initiatives.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure exceptional
- customer service and delivery performance.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical
- Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in a senior operational leadership role.
- Proven multi-site manufacturing management experience.
- Experience within plastics, packaging, injection moulding, blow moulding, FMCG or a related
- manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in operational turnaround, productivity improvement and cost optimisation.
- Strong experience in capital projects, plant expansion and automation initiatives.
