Eduvos is looking to hire the services on an Academic and Student Experience Manager at the East London campus on a full time basis.

The Position:
- To manage the student affairs and student support portfolio at a campus; thereby ensuring a positive student experience on a campus outside the classroom that contribute to ensuring that a student is successful in his/her learning and teaching journey.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum qualification
- At least an honours degree, preferably in education, psychology or management
Experience
- Minimum two years of managerial experience in an academic environment
- Three to five years’ of service or customer management experience, preferably in higher education environment
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
As the Academic and Student Experience Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the following:
A) Student retention - implemented student experience journey (social events, governance, physical and emotional wellness, academic support)
- Orientation, onboarding and induction
- Communication
- Contract management
- Facilities and venue compliance
- Support faculty delivery on campus – facilitating lecturer evaluations/student feedback
- Sponsor engagement
- Academic support programmes
- Wellness programmes
- Employability and work readiness
B) Student resource enablement
C) Student compliance with institutional policies
D) Events management (e.g., graduation event management, career fairs)
E) Facilitate campus disciplinary process / Chair of student disciplinary committee (incl. enquiries)
