Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Trained Registered Nurse to join a professional surgical team in the Southern Suburbs. This opportunity is ideal for a nursing professional who is passionate about perioperative care and committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialised nursing care throughout the perioperative process
- Prepare theatre environments, equipment, and instruments for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and multidisciplinary teams during operations
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention and theatre safety protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Requirements
- Registered with SANC
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Postgraduate qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing
- 3–5 years’ experience within a Theatre environment
- Strong clinical and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
