About the Role

• An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Graphic Designer / DTP Operator to join a dynamic clothing and apparel business in Pretoria. If you have proven hands-on experience in clothing sublimation, a sharp eye for detail, and can manage production-ready artwork from brief to output, we want to hear from you.
• This role is within the clothing and apparel industry. The successful candidate will join an established production team in Cape Town, working on sublimation garment design and print-ready artwork. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running — immediate start required.

• Create and prepare print-ready artwork for clothing sublimation and apparel production
• DTP layout, typesetting and production of marketing and brand collateral
• Manage artwork files from initial concept through to production-ready stage
• Liaise with production teams to ensure colour accuracy and print quality
• Resize, reformat and adapt designs across various media and garment templates
• Maintain consistent brand identity across all design outputs
• Work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment

Qualifications

• Graphic Design diploma, degree or equivalent — advantageous
• Formal DTP or print production training beneficial

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Graphic Design or DTP
• Proven clothing sublimation experience — non-negotiable
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Strong understanding of CMYK colour profiles and print processes
• Experience with garment templates and cut-and-sew layout preparation
• Experience with garment templates and cut-and-sew layout preparation
• Ability to resize and reformat artwork across different media and garment types
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A portfolio demonstrating sublimation and apparel design work — essential
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Technical Competencies

• Adobe Illustrator — advanced garment and vector artwork
• Adobe Photoshop — image editing and colour correction for print
• Adobe InDesign — DTP layout and typesetting
• Sublimation print process knowledge: colour profiles, ICC profiles, output preparation
• Garment template management and cut-and-sew file preparation
• File management and version control for production environments
