Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity is available for a Quantity Surveyor with solid retail project experience to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management and commercial administration across a range of projects. Professionals from both contractor and consulting backgrounds will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project cost plans and budgets
• Prepare tender documentation and evaluate quotations
• Manage valuations, claims, and variations
• Monitor financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
• Produce accurate cost reports and forecasts
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
• Assist in identifying commercial risks and opportunities

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• 7–10 years’ post-graduate experience preferred
• Strong retail sector experience is a non-negotiable requirement
• Knowledge of construction contracts and cost control procedures
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
