An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Insurance Manager to join a reputable banking institution in KwaZulu-Natal. This role is ideal for a driven insurance professional with strong expertise across both Personal and Commercial Lines who enjoys building client relationships, driving business growth, and leading insurance operations across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities Manage and grow Personal and Commercial Lines insurance portfolios. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders. Drive business development initiatives and identify opportunities to increase market share. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and governance requirements. Monitor portfolio performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and client retention. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to insurance teams and relevant stakeholders. Conduct regular client visits and travel throughout KwaZulu-Natal as required. Prepare management reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Job Experience and Skills Required Education BCom Degree or equivalent qualification. RE1 qualification (essential). RE5 qualification (essential). Experience Minimum 7 years' insurance industry experience. Proven experience within both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance. Experience managing client portfolios and stakeholder relationships. Exposure to business development and insurance operations management.
