A well-established manufacturing business operating in a fast-paced production environment is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Cost Accountant. This role is ideal for a candidate who has a strong interest in costing, operational finance, and manufacturing processes, and is looking to grow within a dynamic and hands-on environment.
POSITION INFO
Job Description: Assist with product costing and margin analysis Monitor raw material, labour, and production costs Support monthly stock counts and inventory reconciliations Analyse variances between actual and standard costs Prepare costing reports and operational financial analysis Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Maintain bill of materials (BOMs) and costing databases Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and finance teams Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives Assist with month-end reporting and audit requirements Skills & Experience: 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing or technical environment advantageous Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills ERP system and inventory control exposure advantageous Experience with Pastel Evolution beneficial High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Cost & Management Accounting, Finance, or related field For more information connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
