Job Description: Design, develop, and optimize automation systems, robotics solutions, and production equipment Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturability and production efficiency Support factory layout planning and process improvement initiatives Lead testing, commissioning, and implementation of new production technologies Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance Skills & Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, automation, robotics, or process engineering Strong CAD/CAM proficiency and practical experience with PLCs, automation systems, or robotics Exposure to modular construction, off-site manufacturing, or advanced production environments is advantageous Programming experience in languages such as Python, C++, or similar Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities Strong analytical mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered Connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Engineering recruitment vacancies.
