As an IFS Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day functional and technical support for the IFS ERP platform. You will work closely with business users to resolve incidents, manage service requests, and support ongoing system improvements. This role requires a strong understanding of IFS modules, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-line support for IFS users across finance, operations, project teams and client facing users.
  • Liaise with IFS support and third-party vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Monitor and resolve incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
  • Support configuration changes, user access management, and system testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to troubleshoot issues and implement fixes.
  • Assist in documenting support procedures, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patch testing, and regression testing cycles.

Requirements

Education and Experience Required

  • Experience supporting IFS ERP systems in a business or IT support capacity.
  • Ideally, familiarity with IFS modules such as Finance, Projects and HR.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with end users and technical teams.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based support processes.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience with ServiceNow for managing incidents and service requests within IT support environments.
  • IFS Cloud experience
  • Experience of managing Permission sets in IFS
  • Experience of migration jobs in IFS
  • Experience of the IFS Portal and the IFS cloud deployment cycle and IFS support model
