Site Engineer

Our client is a leading engineering and construction organisation delivering large-scale energy and infrastructure projects across South Africa. With a strong presence in the renewable energy sector, they are involved in the successful execution of solar, wind, transmission, and power infrastructure projects that are helping shape the country's energy future.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a high-performing project team and gain exposure to some of South Africa's most significant renewable energy developments.

Requirements

• BEng/BSc Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5–10 years' experience as a Site Engineer within the renewable energy sector
• Proven experience on Solar PV, Wind Energy, Transmission Lines, Substations, or Overhead Line projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction, commissioning, and project execution
• Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, and site teams
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Strong understanding of quality control, health and safety, and site compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to work full-time on site in Mpumalanga
