Retail Supervisor
Econet Telecom Lesotho (ETL) is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Retail Supervisor to lead one of its retail shops located at Pioneer Mall, Maseru. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive performance in one of the country’s busiest retail environments, representing Lesotho’s Best Data Network at a high-profile location.
Reporting to the Retail Manager, the Retail Supervisor is responsible for driving sales performance, supervising and developing retail shop employees, ensuring operational excellence, and overseeing the effective day-to-day management of the retail shop to maximise business results and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive retail shop sales and ensure that revenue and acquisition targets are met through in-store promotions and a well-briefed sales team
- Deliver an excellent customer experience—managing query resolution, sales follow-ups, SIM swaps, reactivations, and reconnections within the service charter
- Oversee daily retail operations and reporting, including banking, EcoCash reconciliations, stock variance reports, and day-end procedures
- Manage the shop environment—presentation, correct pricing and display of phones and accessories, filing, and safety measures
- Administer stock—reordering, stock takes, reconciling physical and system stock, and safeguarding stock against loss or damage
- Supervise, motivate, and develop subordinates
What You’ll Need
- A Diploma in Business Management or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or a similar environment
- At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Sound knowledge of customer care, sales principles, marketing, accounting, and cash handling
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports
- Strong planning, organising, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and develop staff and consistently achieve targets
