This managerial role is responsible for leading the Bank’s short-term and long-term planning and performance monitoring. The role translates executive vision into actionable plans and ensures that departments achieve targets through structured monitoring and evaluation.

Areas of Responsibility
Strategic Planning and Alignment
- Lead the development of the Bank’s business strategy, operating model, and strategic plans aligned with its mission
- Coordinate the development of annual performance plans across all departments to ensure consistent execution of strategy
- Develop, review, and implement internal strategy tools, operational procedures, and standards to support effective strategy implementation
- Collaborate with strategic teams to ensure alignment of budgets and long-term financial strategies with sustainability objectives
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
- Establish measurable performance indicators (KPIs) and quality assurance mechanisms to track progress against organisational goals
- Oversee the preparation of periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) on performance against targets for executive management and the Board
- Identify strategic risks and coordinate the development of contingency plans to mitigate potential threats
Stakeholder and Leadership Support
- Support the Governor in translating strategic vision into day-to-day operational activities
- Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international stakeholders to enhance collaboration
- Lead and manage the Strategy Division, including staff performance appraisals and capacity development
- Coordinate and facilitate strategy-related training and development across the Bank

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in one of the following fields:
- Social Sciences
- Economics
- Strategic Management
- Other related disciplines
Added Advantage
- Training or professional courses in strategy management
Experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in:
- Organisational strategy management
- Managerial roles
- Strategic leadership roles
- Experience in a strategy-focused environment will be an added advantage
