Intermediate to Senior Planner - Construction Industry

A reputable construction company is seeking an experienced Intermediate to Senior Planner to join their team based in Sunninghill, Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on construction projects across Mpumalanga, Gauteng, and Limpopo. Regular travel to project sites will be required.

• Develop and maintain project schedules and programmes.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays.
• Prepare progress reports and recovery plans where required.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Ensure project timelines are aligned with contractual requirements.
• Conduct site visits and provide planning support to multiple projects.

• At least a diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years onsite planning experience based in a construction environment.
• Proven experience as a Planner within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in planning software such as CCS, MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.
