Bid Manager - New Zealand

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join a respected civil construction company with a strong pipeline of work across New Zealand. This role will support small to large infrastructure bids and be part of a dedicated pre-contracts team focused on preparing high-quality, competitive tenders.

• Manage the full tender process, including EOIs, SIAs, and detailed proposals.
• Develop clear bid strategies, project methodologies, and key messages.
• Review commercial and contractual requirements to help reduce risk.
• Work closely with bid writers, estimators, engineers, and technical specialists.
• Ensure all submissions are accurate, well-presented, and delivered on time.
• Support continuous improvement of the bidding process.

• A degree in engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in civil construction, project delivery, or pre-contracts.
• Strong understanding of civil project delivery and commercial requirements.
• Experience reviewing contract terms and identifying risks.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ideal for Project Managers or engineers wanting to move into bid management.
