SUMMARY
A well-known and established Activated Carbon and R.O. chemical company requires the above to manage, drive and oversee all Customers within the Water/Municipal, Refinery, Industrial, Mining and Beverage markets to promote a range of refinery catalysts, activated carbon and vapour recovery units on behalf of the company on a national and international basis.

Minimum requirements for the role: A tertiary qualification in either chemical engineering or chemistry or a related qualification if preferred for the role. Previous sales experience working within the potable water or water treatment and or refinery industries is preferred. The successful candidate should be able to work independently with minimum supervision. Must be computer literate. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing, driving and overseeing all Customers within the Water/Municipal, Refinery and Beverage markets to promote a range of refinery catalysts, activated carbon and vapour recovery units on behalf of the company on a national and international basis. Managing and driving the company's sales strategy and sales objectives for the activated carbon, water and vapour recovery units. Developing and executing strategic growth plans across water treatment and refinery market segments. Driving new business acquisition and revenue growth throughout South Africa and selected Southern African territories. Identifying opportunities to expand market penetration across municipal, beverage, industrial, mining and refinery sectors. Managing refinery catalyst and vapour recovery business activities. Supporting refinery customers with technical product application and service requirements. Promoting activated carbon and reverse osmosis membrane technologies to industrial, mining, food and beverage and municipal customers. Supporting customer applications involving water purification, filtration, wastewater treatment, and process optimisation. Managing commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contractual agreements. Supporting customer projects from specification through implementation. Structuring and determining monthly price lists and overseeing contractual transactions supported with accurate costings and adopting financial prudency. Structuring, implementing and preparing sales budgets and regular reviews, addressing variances and ensuring that KPI's are met. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
