Maintenance Manager

A leading plastic packaging manufacturer in the Western Cape is seeking an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead its engineering and maintenance function. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong leader to drive equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing maintenance strategies that maximise plant uptime, improve asset performance, and support production targets. The role will oversee all maintenance activities across production equipment, utilities, facilities, and engineering projects while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

Matric

Trade Tested Electrician/Millwright

National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

5 years’ experience in a Management Role

10 years’ overall experience

Within a Plastics or Packaging factory environment
