Accenture Products & Platforms for HR, Talent and Skilling (APP HTS) is a dedicated software business within Accenture, specializing in complementary applications for SAP environments. With a focus on enhancing SAP ERP Human Capital Management, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Plant Maintenance, APP HTS develops, sells, supports, and maintains innovative add-on solutions that extend core SAP capabilities. The WiredUp platform, although not related to SAP, will join the APP HTS business unit as a new product offering within the software business.

The Work

With a mix of software product knowledge, functional expertise and industry focus, you create the specifications and features of a product, you analyze and design enhancements to the application and identify and define detailed product functional requirements and use cases. You assess current capabilities and market requirements and define the requirements, metrics and performance goals with other teams. You transition requirements and use cases to designers:

  • Support Product Management & Solution Development - Work closely with the Product Management team to analyse client needs, define solution concepts, and contribute to the development of proposals that validate the solution approach within agreed cost and scope constraints.
  • Release & Lifecycle Management - Share ownership of solution functionality and manage release schedules in collaboration with the Product Manager, Engineering Lead, and DevOps ensuring all Phase Gate deliverables including Solution Plans, Release Readiness, and Legal and Commercial Approvals are prepared and met on time.
  • Requirements & Stakeholder Alignment - Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements, acting as a bridge between product, engineering, legal, and commercial teams to maintain alignment on scope, priorities, and solution design throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance - Contribute to the creation and execution of the Test Strategy, including the definition and review of regression test cases, and take responsibility for verifying the functionality and quality of product releases against agreed acceptance criteria.
  • Risk, Issue & Budget Oversight - Proactively track project risks, contribute to issue resolution, and support the Product Manager in coordinating release budgets and staffing plans, escalating concerns early to minimise delivery impact.
  • Commercial & Compliance Awareness - Support the preparation of Legal and Commercial approval documentation, ensuring proposed solutions meet data privacy, regulatory, and contractual requirements relevant to the SaaS product and its clients.
  • Agile Delivery & Continuous Improvement - Operate effectively within an Agile/Scrum delivery framework, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, while applying structured analytical thinking to drive consistent improvements in quality, process, and outcomes.

Travel may be required for this role depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s What You Need

  • Experience – Two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Business Analysis - Ability to elicit and document client needs, translate them into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and validate solutions against cost and scope.
  • Product & Release Management - Experience supporting the full SaaS product lifecycle, including solution concept development, release coordination, and Phase Gate governance deliverables such as Solution Plans and Release Readiness documentation.
  • Testing & Quality - Capability to contribute to Test Strategy definition, write and review regression test cases, and verify that released functionality meets the required quality bar.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Strong ability to work across product, engineering, legal, and commercial teams, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to keep everyone aligned.
  • Risk & Issue Management - Proactive in identifying, tracking, and escalating project risks and issues, with experience maintaining risk registers and contributing to resolution plans.
  • Commercial & Legal Awareness - Understanding of approval processes, security, data privacy considerations, and the ability to support business cases validating solution approaches against budget and scope constraints.
  • Agile & Analytical Thinking - Solid working knowledge of Agile delivery practices combined with strong structured thinking, data literacy, and attention to detail across planning, execution, and review activities.
