IT Systems Engineer

We're Hiring: Senior IT Systems Engineers / System Administrators (x2)

Location: Springs, Gauteng (Client Sites & Remote Work)

Corporate Network Solutions (CNS) is a fast-growing Managed IT Services Provider delivering enterprise-grade IT solutions to businesses across South Africa. We are looking for two experienced Senior IT Systems Engineers / System Administrators to join our technical team.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain and support Windows Server environments

Deploy, administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 environments

Perform Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations

Administer Exchange Online, including mailbox migrations and management

Support and troubleshoot SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams

Configure, deploy and support FortiGate firewalls, including Security Policies, NAT, SSL VPN, IPsec VPN and SD-WAN

Deploy and manage Ubiquiti UniFi networks, including Access Points, Switches and Gateways

Configure and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP

Deploy and administer Hyper-V virtual environments

Support Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments

Troubleshoot Fibre, LTE, WAN and LAN connectivity issues

Implement backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions

Monitor and maintain client infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and performance

Provide exceptional remote and onsite technical support to business clients

Requirements

3+ years' experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator or Field Service Engineer

Previous experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment will be highly advantageous

Strong knowledge of:

• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Exchange Online
• SharePoint Online
• OneDrive for Business
• Microsoft Teams
• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• Group Policy
• DNS & DHCP
• Hyper-V
• Microsoft SQL Server
• PowerShell scripting
• TCP/IP Networking
• VLANs
• Routing & Switching
• Fibre, LTE and WAN connectivity

Fortinet experience is ESSENTIAL

Experience with:

• Firewall Policies
• NAT
• SSL VPN
• IPsec VPN
• SD-WAN

Ubiquiti UniFi experience is ESSENTIAL

Experience with:

• UniFi Access Points
• UniFi Switches
• UniFi Gateways
• Wireless deployments and troubleshooting

Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple client environments

Valid driver's licence and reliable transport

Microsoft Certifications

Fortinet Certifications (FCP/NSE)

Ubiquiti Certifications

Azure / Microsoft Entra ID

Microsoft Intune

Veeam or other enterprise backup solutions

Experience with RMM platforms (Atera, NinjaOne, ConnectWise, Datto)
