Our client has a vacant position for a Forklift Operator reporting to the Operations Manager based in Gauteng – Kempton Park.

They are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious

Forklift Driver to support our warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, movement, and storage of stock while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all warehouse safety procedures

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements Valid 2.5 Ton Articulated Hyster Forklift Licence (essential). 3-5 years' proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment. Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent. Experience with receiving dispatch and inventory processes. Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures. Physically fit and able to lift and move stock where required. Clear criminal record. Reliable transport to and from work. Skills and Competencies Excellent forklift operating skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Reliable, trustworthy and punctual. Good organisational and time management skills. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a 2.5 Ton Articulated Hyster Forklift. Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and safely. Transport stock to designated warehouse locations. Pick, move, stack and replenish inventory as required. Assist with receiving, checking and dispatching goods. Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical faults. Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage. Assist with stock counts and inventory control. Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment. Follow all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and company procedures. Work closely with the Operations Manager and team to meet daily operational targets. Housekeeping Administration
