Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is seeking an intermediate/ experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in Cape Town. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about cost management, project delivery, and maintaining high standards throughout the construction lifecycle.

Duties

• Develop and monitor project budgets and cost plans
• Prepare bills of quantities and tender evaluations
• Manage interim valuations and final account settlements
• Review project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (BSc Quantity Surveying, BSc Honours etc)
• Professional registration or progression towards registration advantageous
• 5–10 years’ experience within the built environment
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management principles
• Proficiency in WinQS, DimX software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
