Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a specialised cardiac services team in the Western Cape. This opportunity is ideal for a nursing professional with Cath Lab experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a technologically advanced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Assist medical practitioners during Cath Lab procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and quality standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver excellent patient care

Requirements

• Matric
• Professional Nursing Qualification
• Current registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification nursing experience
• Proven Cath Lab experience
• Certificate or Diploma in ICU/Critical Care will be advantageous
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
