Our client, a premium automotive dealership, is seeking a qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and warranty work in accordance with manufacturer standards while maintaining high levels of workmanship and productivity.

Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (Red Seal) with a minimum of 3 years' working experience within a automotive Dealership, after qualifying.
Fully Bilingual (English, Afrikaans) preferable
Motor Vehicle Dealership experience – preferably in the premium market segment
Computer Literacy
Must possess a valid driver's licence
Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified technician.
Proven diagnostic and fault-finding experience.
Valid South African driver's licence.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet productivity targets.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Previous experience working on Premium vehicles.
Experience within a premium or luxury automotive dealership environment.
Familiarity with BMW/ Mercedes /Mini / LandRover systems and manufacturer processes

Complete servicing and repair orders efficiently and timeously within the allocated time
Achieve workshop labour targets by working efficiently and up-selling where possible
Diagnosing customer problems, providing appropriate solutions and communicating these effectively
Ensure parts are ordered timeously, and booked out to Job Cards to enable timeous repair completion
To keep informed on the changes in technology by attending training, reading bulletins and acquiring the knowledge to serve customers’ needs
To support the Service Manager and Foreman with tasks that are beneficial to the company
Manage adherence to all Dealership business processes and promote ongoing continuous improvements
To ensure workstations/equipment/tools and all vehicles are kept neat, clean and tidy and treated with care
Conduct advanced diagnostic testing and fault-finding on vehicle systems.
Complete repairs efficiently and in line with manufacturer specifications and workshop standard
