Role Description

Being a New Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cape Town, Century City.

This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth across Itec’s portfolio of products.

With Day-to-day tasks that include prospecting and lead generation, conducting discovery meetings, preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations, and developing proposals tailored to client requirements. The role also involves managing new client accounts during the onboarding phase, collaborating with internal teams to ensure solution alignment, and maintaining accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills, with a proven ability to identify, qualify, and close new opportunities.
  • Candidates should possess effective Sales and Sales Presentation skills, including the ability to communicate value propositions and deliver persuasive client-facing presentations.
  • Candidates should possess solid Account Management capabilities to nurture new clients, support post-sale relationships, and drive repeat business.
  • Relevant skills such as negotiation, pipeline management, and CRM proficiency are highly beneficial.
  • Previous experience in B2B technology, business services, or related industries is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
