POSITION INFO

Minimum requirements: Certification or qualification in Mechanical Drafting or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a mechanical design, engineering, or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor. Experience creating detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs. Familiarity with PDM/Vault and ERP systems will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing-ready 2D drawings using approved CAD software. Collaborate with engineers to interpret design requirements and ensure manufacturability. Update and revise drawings in line with engineering changes and maintain accurate version control. Produce bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing documentation, and material calculations. Manage and maintain drawing files, models, and assemblies within the PDM/Vault system. Upload drawings, BOMs, and kits into the ERP system to support procurement and production. Ensure compliance with company drafting standards, engineering specifications, and industry requirements. Participate in design reviews, quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot CAD-related issues and contribute to process and design improvements.
