SUMMARY

An experienced Automation Engineer is required to support and optimize industrial control systems, including SCADA and PLC platforms, within a heavy industrial environment. The role involves automation projects, machine upgrades, fault-finding, reporting, control system standardisation, and technical support across multiple operations.

Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Automation Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar or heavy industrial environment Strong SCADA development experience (Ignition, FactoryTalk, WinCC) Strong PLC programming experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Delta) Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP) Experience with machine automation, upgrades, and fault-finding Understanding of OHSA and industrial safety standards Computer literate (MS Office) Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Willingness to work overtime and provide after-hours technical support when required By submitting any Personal Information to MPRTC in any form you acknowledge that such conduct constitutes a reasonable unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the (processing and storing of such Personal Information by MPRTC and/or MPRTC's clients and/or verification information suppliers.
