Upmarket and well-known Home Décor Retail Brand is seeking an experienced SENIOR SALES CONSULTANT to join their team in Gardens, Cape Town. We are looking for a vibrant individual who is passionate about homeware/décor, with excellent retail sales experience. The main purpose of the job is to ensure consistent implementation and upholding of policies and procedures. Ensure operational compliance and risk mitigation. Drive a motivated and energised store team and drive sales of the brand products through effective stock management, maintaining merchandising standards and overseeing the effective operations of the showroom. The Senior Sales Consultant will promote and sell retail products to customers, providing excellent customer service, reaching and exceeding sales budgets. The main function of the job include: - Building long standing and productive relationships with customers - Selling our luxury homeware products and reaching/exceeding sales targets - Maintaining retail showroom standards and operations - Deliver customer satisfaction - Managing orders of retail products for the showroom - Stock management - Supporting the external sales consultant - Supporting the payment process - It is also important to note this position is of a physical nature due to the handling of heavy rugs Requirements: - National Senior Certificate - At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, within a retail environment, preferably for a luxury brand - Experience working on point of sale - Previous experience in a senior role, coordinating a team would be advantageous - Knowledge of homeware and décor - Experience in conducting and managing regular stock takes - Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) - Customer service focused and orientated - Highly sales driven and focused on achieving the end result - Must be professional and well presented - Self motivated - General business acumen Salary negotiable Start: ASAP To apply for the Senior Sales Consultant | Cape Town | Home Décor Retail Brand please send your detailed CV in a Word document and a recent photo of yourself.
