Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• A tertiary qualification will be considered an added advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of Sylvania processes is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in PGM flotation and Chrome recovery plant operations.
• Previous supervisory experience will be beneficial.
• Strong administration and housekeeping skills are necessary.
• Willingness to reside in close proximity to the operation site.
• Availability to work shifts and overtime as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist team members in producing high-quality products and meeting established targets.
• Ensure strict compliance with the company's Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the plant to promote a safe work environment.
• Monitor and control plant operations closely to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Identify potential or actual operational issues promptly and implement effective corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall plant performance.
• Facilitate smooth and effective handover during shift changes to ensure operational continuity.
