LOGISTICS AND PARTS CONTROLLER - JOHANNESBURG

The Logistics and Parts Controller is responsible for the effective management of the Parts Warehouse, Inbound and Outbound parts logistics, stock controls and drivers, ensuring operational efficiency, parts availability and related cost controls

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
• Diploma/degree or similar qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Management
• Management and delivery of the Budget (revenue, contribution margin and business margin) for all aspects of the parts and logistics business including monthly tracking, variance analysis and reporting on action plans
• People management experience is essential
• SAP System experience advantageous
• Logistics experience: Exports of goods and documentation, customs clearing and forwarding and releasing of imported items, management of freight charges and monitoring the condition and usage of delivery vehicles and forklifts
• Stock Management: Manage parts inventory, effective stock control and ordering and returns, receiving of goods into stock on SAP, create bin locations, dead stock management, plan and co-ordinate yearly stock take
