SALES MANAGER (Industrial Flow Control) - Gauteng

Our client is a well-established international manufacturer and market leader within the industrial flow control sector, has a position available for Sales Manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Civil), Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience within technical B2B/B2G sales.
  • At least 5 years in a senior sales leadership or executive management role.
  • Proven experience within the industrial valves, pumps, flow control, process equipment or related industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of industrial plant processes and technical applications.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue growth, improving profitability and leading commercial teams.
  • Experience managing distributors, channel partners and regional sales across Southern Africa.
  • Strong commercial, financial and strategic business acumen.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales analytics and forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout Southern Africa, with occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy to achieve sustainable revenue and profitability growth.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the national sales and marketing teams.
  • Drive business development across existing and emerging markets throughout Southern Africa.
  • Expand market share within the water, wastewater, mining, energy and industrial sectors.
  • Strengthen key customer, distributor and channel partner relationships.
  • Improve sales pipeline management, forecasting accuracy and CRM discipline.
  • Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations and margin optimisation.
  • Develop, coach and mentor a high-performing sales team while driving accountability and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to influence business strategy, resource allocation and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Champion continuous improvement, commercial excellence and customer-focused solutions.
