LEGAL SECRETARY

We are seeking a skilled Legal Secretary to provide secretarial and administrative support to our legal team by ensuring smooth running of legal and administrative processes within the firm. The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of legal procedures and terminology.
1. Drafting, typing, formatting, and reading legal documents
2. Issuing and filing of documents via Court Online
3. Liasing with Sheriffs, Advocates, and Clients
4. Monitoring timelines and managing legal diary
5. Opening, organising and maintaining files
6. Managing incoming and outgoing emails and telephone calls
7. Dictation typing
8. General administrative support
1. Microsoft Office experience essential
2. Ghost Practice experience advantageous
3. Must have own transport
4. Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and Court Rules
5. Excellent typing speed and skills
6. High attention to detail
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
8. Strong organisational skills and must be able to multitask
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
R15,000.00 to R20,000.00 cost to company
