Minimum Requirements

• Relevant experience working in a stock or picking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & excel (non-negotiable)
• The individual applying should have a sense of urgency, attention to detail, remain calm under pressure, multitask, be a team player & take ownership for their work
• Good written and verbal communication skills & good telephone etiquette
• Good listening skills & ability to carry out any instruction with immediate action from any manager or executive in the organization as well as the team leader of the Picking department
• Be able to stand in for colleagues & assist where it is required to meet deadlines
• Deadline driven, organized & willing to go the extra mile
• Fast learner in an ever-changing environment – this will be an ongoing learning experience (growth mindset)
• Heavy lifting required, driving stock from and to warehouses & assist with off loading trucks when shipments arrive
• Extra hours & weekend work will be required from time to time
• Prior experience in Salesforce & NetSuite will be an advantage

Duties & Responsibilities

• Picking and complete orders (physical & system)
• Supplying swop out stock & process their off
• Counting of all incoming stock, signing of paperwork & unpacking
• Assist technicians, scheduler & Logistics agent with stock
• Filling up swop out shelf, cleaning of stores & topping up of stock & advising of low level stock for ordering
• Picking of consumable stock
• Arrange deliveries with delivery notes & ensuring it gets scanned and shared with Accounts upon return
• Packing cross borders & send dimensions
• Assist with any additional task that may arise
