Our history
Euro-Center was established by Scandinavian investors, who realised how local assistance to travellers could vastly enhance their experience at the destination. The idea was spot-on, and in 1971 the first Euro-Center opened in Mallorca.
Euro-Center has gradually grown globally to today’s 3 assistance hubs,
11 branch offices, 300 employees and over 70,000 providers worldwide.

Our dynamic, diverse, and vibrant Euro-Center Cape Town (South Africa) office is seeking German speakers (Native or C1 level) with demonstrated working experience utilising their German language skills (professional fluency written and/or verbal) to join our German-speaking Claims Department.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Claims services
- Replying to incoming email enquiries
- Communication & claims processing arrangements for medical and travel insurance claims
- Efficient "start to end" claims handling including data entry and invoice assessment
- Provide friendly and outstanding customer service
- Respond to enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
- Work efficiently in a multilingual and multi-cultural team
- German speaker with professional fluency – Native or C1 level
- Demonstrated work experience utilising German language skills (written and/or verbal)
- Proactive and perform well under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible and open-minded to ongoing changes and training
- Matric or higher
- Strong computer user skills in Microsoft Office tools
- SA VISA secured already, ideally
- Important: Relevant German Language Proficiency Level certificate needs to be supplied with your CV for B2 level
Advantageous
- FSB registered – a big bonus
- Previous work experience in Medical Assistance, Insurances, Claims Handling or Tourism
