SUMMARY

Senior Mechanic | Vehicle Builder

Salary: R 25 000 - R 30 000

We are looking for a skilled and experienced mechanic who is passionate about vehicle engineering and capable of building vehicles from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, assembling, and maintaining vehicles while ensuring the workshop operates efficiently, safely, and professionally.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements * Qualified Motor Mechanic (Trade Test preferred). * Minimum 5-10 years' experience in automotive repairs and vehicle assembly. * Proven ability to build or completely restore vehicles from the ground up. * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. * Experience using workshop diagnostic equipment. * Valid driver's licence. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Skills & Competencies * Exceptional mechanical aptitude. * Strong attention to detail. * High standard of workmanship. * Excellent problem-solving abilities. * Good organisational and time-management skills. * Ability to prioritise multiple jobs effectively. * Reliable, trustworthy, and accountable. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Team player with a positive attitude. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanic who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys complex mechanical projects, and can be trusted to manage jobs from initial diagnosis through to final completion.
