SUMMARY

A Vacancy exists for a 

Site Manager in the 

Guarding Division based in Durban Spar - Phoenix.

The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:    

POSITION INFO

Security advice to clients; Quality Assurance Audit; Threat and Risk assessments;   Experienced client liaison and professional client relationship;    Project Management; Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints;    Ensure that the contractual requirements are met all the time;  Maintaining the ISO 90002 quality system; Ensure that all company/Clients SOPs are followed; Incident and investigations Management; Ensure compliance to the Company's disciplinary code. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of good security practices, covering the physical and logical aspects of information products, systems integrity confidentiality; Manage a day-to-day running of the relevant site to ensure profitability; Effective organisation, supervision and staff management; Client retention and maintaining customer service levels; Training and development; Audits and assessments; Maintenance and safeguarding of company and client assets;    Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:      PSIRA certification - Grade A;    Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;    Relevant experience in a managerial or similar position for at least 5 years;  Knowledge of methods and techniques of risk management, business impact analysis and counter measures; Knowledge of tools or systems which provides access security control; Must have confidence in dealing with the public; Experience in retail industry would be an advantage; Bilingual (English and any other South African Language); First aid and firefighting will be advantageous; Excellent written &verbal communication; Computer literate and knowledge of MS office;  Must be willing to undergo polygraph test.  Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record; Valid drivers license and own reliable transport Employment consideration will be in accordance with the Employment Equity Act requirements  Should you not hear from us within 14 days after closing date, your application should be considered unsuccessful
