POSITION INFO

The role will challenge you to: Lead the design and development of mechanical solutions across vehicles, trailers, and specialised platforms Take full ownership of engineering projects from planning through to delivery Drive continuous improvement of existing designs through optimisation and redesign Ensure engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications meet the highest standards Manage prototype development, build programmes, and testing processes Oversee budgets, timelines, risk, and project resources Engage with local and international suppliers, negotiating quality and cost Deliver technical solutions that perform in demanding operational environments What you bring to the table: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering design and project execution Strong exposure to manufacturing or fabrication environments Proven experience working with CAD software such as SolidWorks The ability to translate technical concepts into practical, buildable solutions A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail The ability to manage multiple priorities in high-performance environments What sets you apart: Experience working on vehicles, marine systems, trailers, or similar mechanical platforms Exposure to defence, automotive, or heavy engineering industries A track record of delivering projects from concept through to commissioning This is a role for someone who is not satisfied with theory alone - but is motivated by execution, delivery, and results.
