The Opportunity

Due to continued growth across our Wealth and Financial Planning division, we are looking to expand our Client Engagement Team in Cape Town.

We are seeking enthusiastic, commercially minded individuals who have experience within Wealth Management, Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Investments, Pensions, Protection, or wider Financial Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing and innovative business where you will engage directly with consumers, identify financial planning opportunities, and introduce clients to our team of qualified Financial Advisers.

You will play a key role in helping customers understand how professional financial advice can support their long-term goals, whether that is growing wealth, planning for retirement, protecting their family, or creating a tax-efficient financial future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective and existing customers.
  • Engage customers in meaningful conversations about their financial goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities relating to investments, pensions, retirement planning, estate planning, protection, and wealth creation.
  • Generate and book qualified appointments for Financial Advisers.
  • Build rapport quickly and maintain a professional and consultative approach.
  • Handle objections confidently and effectively.
  • Accurately record customer information and interactions within CRM systems.
  • Follow up leads through multiple communication channels including phone, email, WhatsApp and SMS.
  • Consistently achieve individual and team KPIs.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining compliance standards.

Who We're Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years' experience within a call centre, telesales, financial services, wealth management, estate planning or customer engagement environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales, lead generation, appointment booking, or customer engagement targets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong objection-handling and influencing abilities.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience within Wealth Management.
  • Experience working for an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm.
  • Estate Planning experience.
  • Pension or Investment experience.
  • Protection and Insurance experience.
  • Experience generating appointments for Financial Advisers or Wealth Managers.
  • Understanding of financial planning concepts and customer financial wellbeing.
  • Experience within FCA-regulated or financial services environments.

Education

  • High School (Matric) – Required.

Experience

  • Financial Services, Wealth Management, Estate Planning, Telesales or Call Centre Experience: 2 years (Required).
