Job Purpose

To do repairs and Maintenance on Air-conditioning Plants, Sewer systems and water reticulation system. Must do regular plant inspection with service reports of the complex. Welding, manufacturing equipment and equipment repairs will be required from time to time. All plants must be inspected on a daily basis and faults to be reported to the Mechanical Supervisor. Assists the Mechanical Supervisor with day to day operational requirements in the department.

Formal Qualifications

Minimum

Grade 12

A trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting / Fitter is essential.

Minimum Requirements

Prior Experience

Minimum

5 years' experience as qualified fitter working on-site
