The Electrical Foremen will be responsible and accountable for the execution of all electrical projects and maintenance of equipment to ensure maximum effectiveness and productivity.

POSITION INFO

Electrical Foreman, Durban R45,000-R48,000 CTC The Electrical Foremen will be responsible and accountable for the execution of all electrical projects and maintenance of equipment to ensure maximum effectiveness and productivity. Duties include, but are not limited to: Hands-on management of Durban electrical department Plan, schedule, assign and supervise all electrical maintenance and projects Estimate the time and material required for projected electrical jobs Ensure that all projects are completed within the relevant timeframe & budget Supervision of electricians, assistants, apprentices and contractors Plan and manage preventative maintenance on all equipment, including cranes Root cause analysis & troubleshooting of electrical issues Ensure compliance with the Company's Health & Safety and Quality Control policies REQUIREMENTS An Electrician Trade Test and Wireman's licence. Medium voltage experience and certification required. A qualification in Electrical Engineering coupled with the aforementioned will be a distinct advantage. Experience on crane systems required. At least twelve years' post-apprenticeship experience of which ± 5 years' proven supervisory experience Strong maintenance experience within a manufacturing and/or ship repair environment Good communicator & leadership skills Computer literate Candidate must be willing to travel & work overtime when required The ability to interact in a service-oriented environment Attention to detail
